organizations and commercial organizations to
learn basic industry information, industrial structure,
market elements and industry trend and more. We
also try to obtain some information by interviewing
some professionals. C&G Consulting Inc is
a member of many industry associations including
Machinery Industry Association, China Machinery
Industry Federation, China Petroleum and Chemical
Industry Association, Optical and Electronic Cable
Association of China, China Association of Automobile
Manufactures, China Electricity Council, China

Our
researchers and partners collect first hand information
through the field survey by clients¡¯ requests
through the following methods:
Face
to face interview: Interviewers talk to interviewees
face to face to obtain information. The sample
size and criteria of sample selection are determined
by clients.
Telephone
interview: The call center telephone interviews
the selected interviewees to get information according
to questions provided by clients.
Interview
via mail: Mail or deliver the questionnaires to
the target interviewees such as subscribers of
some magazines. We can go to where the interviewees
live to collect the questionnaires in Beijing,
Xi¡¯an, Shenyang, Changchu and Chongqing if this
is more convenient for the interviewees. Interview
via mail we conduct can cover more than 2 million
households in China.
Focus
group discussion: One or more topics can be discussed
by a group of people in a meeting, which will
usually be presided by a host who is experienced
in interview survey and knows much about the discussed
topic(s).
In-depth
interview: In-depth interview includes free talk
and semi-controlled interview. We know many an
industry insider and government official as a
result of our long-term cooperation with some
industry associations and governmental organizations,
enabling us to learn some important industry information
and policy.
